Hi my mom was born in Chapel Arm Nfld and she is one hardy Newfie. Her grandmother was Charlotte Andrews and she was born in Scilly Cove. I believe we are cousins.

Sorry I forgot that part Elizabeth Bryant was my mother's great grandmother. Charlotte Andrews b. 1847 was my moms grandmother. Charlotte married Thomas Power from Chapel Arm, Nfld. My mothers name is Angela Charlotte.
aunt sis, it looks like your g-grandmother, and my g.g.grandfather, Jacob Andrews, were brother and sister. my great grandfather and your grandmother were cousins? correct? By the way, note that Jacob Andrews had 7 sons, one of which was my g. grandfather- Samuel Andrews. Ok this is so confusing to me at times. I think if my great grandmother and your g great grandfather were sister and brother that would make his sons my great mothers nephews?? So that would make my great mother your grandmothers great aunt. So have I confused you yet. I live in Norwood,Ma. Have you ever visited Nfld. I just started doing my family tree on the Andrews side, so you have given me most of the info.
Charles and Hester are my end of line on the Andrews side! I seem to have hit a bit of a brick wall but your blog has given me a couple of their children that I didn't know they had.

Charlotte Andrews ( who married Thomas Power of Chapel Arm is my greatgrandmother..Her youngest child Ellen Maud was my grandmother.
It is only recently that I have located the Andrews family records thanks to a distant in Winterton. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has researched the Elizabeth Bryant side of this family.

Hi there, my great grandfather was part of the 3rd generation. Esau Andrews married to Selena, Portugal Cove. His son of 8 kids, William (Bill) is my paternal grandfather married to my grandmother Rachel Goujou, parents to my mother (deceased) Linda Andrews Stockwood.
There are 2 unrelated families of Day in Old Shop, Trinity Bay. My Days are from OLD PERLICAN . Grandfather used to mention the "other Days" George , Charles and Hannah. These are the Days from Scilly Cove , now Winterton.
My nane is Robert L Andrews of Winterton (once Scilly Cove) and Charles Andrews is my G,G,Grandfather. James my G Grandfather. Jacob, my Grandfather, and Ebenezer my Father. I think i have relatives out there and would love to hear from them. Robert.
